Thanks for such detailed historical information! I am the granddaughter of Pesky Sprott, San Diego High School football Class of 1917. I stumbled upon your site doing family history research. I don’t have any stories to add, but wonder where you got all the photos from that era.
Most of the photos came from newspaper microfilm but I also was able to obtain some from old San Diego High archives or yearbooks. What a name from the past! An all-time San Diego High great who had an Olympic and football career at Berkeley. Thank you for writing, Jennifer.
