2025 Flag Football Week 8: Barons Roll While Others Roil

Bonita Vista cast aside Mater Dei (11-3), 40-0, and Olympian (3-11), 52-31, to reach an unblemished 15-0 record  while there was only minor elbowing in the top spot queue.

In their 2023 Championship run, the Barons’ were 19-1 with a win streak of 14 at season’s end, as the lone loss came in  week 6 to Grossmont, 19-13.

Cathedral (12-4) slipped to No. 8 with losses to Our Lady of Peace (9-9), 39-27, and a  26-0 shutout by Carlsbad (18-4).

The Lancers also held off No. 7 Mission Hills (14-4), 20-14, to squeeze past idle Westview (13-2) into the No. 2 spot.

Imperial (18-3) joined the Top 10, topping neighbors Calexico (10-4), 19-18, and Calexico Vincent Memorial (15-5), 45-40.
